2. Scope of this policy

This privacy policy applies to the moikku.app website and to the newsletter, Community Builder, and business/venue forms submitted through this website.

This policy does not cover all personal data processing inside the Moikku mobile application itself. The Moikku app has separate app-store-facing privacy and terms materials.

3. What data we collect

For newsletter signups, we collect the email address and basic technical form data such as the selected language and submission time.

For Community Builder applications, we collect the name, email address, phone number, street address, postal code, city, and any optional additional details submitted through the form.

For business and venue submissions, we collect the business and contact details, email address, website, opening hours, address details, selected category, description, and uploaded image.

4. Why we use the data

We use newsletter subscriber data only to send Moikku-related messages, such as the app launch notice, beta invitations, feature voting invitations, and product updates. We do not send these emails more often than once per week.

We use Community Builder application data to review applications, evaluate collaboration opportunities, communicate with applicants, and manage Community Builder codes.

We use business and venue submission data to add businesses, events, and places into the Moikku application. This data is stored in a database from which it is shown inside the native Moikku application distributed through the App Store and Google Play.

5. Publication of business and venue data

Venue submissions may include the business name, contact person, email address, website, address, opening hours, image, description, and selected category.

Submitted venue data may remain visible in the Moikku application until the service becomes paid or until the business representative asks us to remove or update the information.

At the moment, removal and update requests must be sent by email to info@moikku.app. We plan to add a self-service removal and management option later on at moikku.app.

6. Basis for processing

We process newsletter data because you ask us to send you Moikku-related messages.

We process Community Builder and business/venue form data in order to review and handle the application or submission you send us.

We use Google Analytics to measure website usage. We do not use analytics data for remarketing.

7. Who receives the data

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Community Builder application data is not shared with third parties. It is used internally by MegaFuzzy Technologies only.

We use technical service providers such as Firebase, Resend, and Google Analytics to store, process, or measure website data.

8. Retention

We retain the data collected through this website until further notice, unless there is a business, technical, or data-subject-driven reason to delete it.

We delete data on request. Users of the Moikku application may also be able to delete their app account data directly in the app when such an account exists there.

9. Your rights

You may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your data, or restriction or objection to processing as applicable under data protection law.

You can send such requests to info@moikku.app.

10. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling for the personal data collected through this landing site.

11. Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to measure website usage. We do not use analytics for remarketing.

If analytics cookies are used on the website, consent for them should be handled through a separate cookie notice or consent solution.
